Privacy Policy

The short version: LED Banner Scroller does not collect, upload, sell, or share your personal information or the content of your banners. No account is required. Your message and app preferences stay on your device. The app does contain ads and an optional in-app purchase provided by Google; Google may process limited technical and transaction data under its own privacy terms, as explained below.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the LED Banner Scroller Android application and this informational website. “LED Banner Scroller,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the app's developer. This policy explains what the app itself does and separately describes services operated by Google.

2. Information we collect

We do not collect personal data from users. LED Banner Scroller has no developer-operated server, account system, analytics service, contact form, or cloud storage. We do not receive or retain names, email addresses, precise or approximate location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera content, advertising profiles, or the text and emojis entered into a banner.

We do not sell personal information, use it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or disclose it to data brokers.

“We do not collect” refers to LED Banner Scroller and its developer. Google services integrated for advertising and purchases may independently process limited data necessary to operate those services.

3. Information stored locally on your device

LED Banner Scroller saves only the settings needed to restore your experience, such as your banner message, selected style, color choices, motion settings, and a local record indicating whether the “Remove Ads” entitlement is available. This information remains in the app's private storage on your device and is not transmitted to us.

You can delete local app data at any time through Android settings or by uninstalling LED Banner Scroller. Android or device backup features may copy app data according to settings controlled by you and your platform provider.

4. Third-party services

LED Banner Scroller uses the following Google services:

Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to display a banner and optional rewarded video.
Google Play Billing to process the optional “Remove Ads” purchase and confirm purchase entitlement.

These services are operated by Google, not by LED Banner Scroller. Depending on device, region, consent choices, and Google's configuration, Google may process data such as IP address, device and app identifiers, general device information, diagnostics, ad impressions and interactions, fraud-prevention signals, and purchase or entitlement information. LED Banner Scroller does not receive payment-card details.

5. Advertising and rewarded access

The free version displays a banner ad. If you choose to unlock motion controls for the current app session, you may voluntarily watch a rewarded interstitial video. The reward is temporary and is not stored for the next app launch.

Ad requests are configured for child-directed treatment and a maximum ad content rating of “G.” These settings restrict how Google may serve ads, including restrictions applicable to interest-based advertising and remarketing. LED Banner Scroller does not build advertising profiles and does not have access to information that identifies an individual user.

You can avoid ads by purchasing “Remove Ads.” Availability and ad behavior may also depend on Google Play services, device settings, and legally required consent controls supplied by Google.

6. In-app purchases

LED Banner Scroller offers a one-time, non-consumable in-app product named “Remove Ads.” The purchase removes advertising and unlocks motion controls without a rewarded video. Google Play processes the transaction. Google may collect and retain purchase, account, tax, and payment information under its policies. We do not receive your payment method or full billing details.

The app queries Google Play to confirm your entitlement and stores a local entitlement flag for a responsive experience. Purchase restoration is handled through the Google Play account used for the transaction.

7. Children's privacy and COPPA

LED Banner Scroller is designed to be safe for a broad audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. It does not provide accounts, social features, public posting, direct messaging, or a way to send banner content to us.

To support compliance with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), advertising requests are tagged for child-directed treatment and limited to a “G” maximum content rating. We do not knowingly enable behavioral profiling of children or ask a child to disclose personal information.

If a parent or guardian believes a child has provided personal information directly to us, please contact us using the method below. Because we do not operate a user database, we generally have no account or server record to locate or delete. Data processed by Google is subject to Google's controls and policies.

8. Data retention

We retain no user data on developer-operated servers because no such data is collected. Local settings remain on the device until they are changed, app storage is cleared, or the app is uninstalled. Google determines retention periods for data processed through AdMob and Google Play Billing under its own policies and legal obligations.

9. Your privacy choices and rights

Do not tap the rewarded-video option if you do not want to request a rewarded ad.
Purchase “Remove Ads” to disable all ads in LED Banner Scroller.
Clear LED Banner Scroller's storage or uninstall the app to remove locally stored settings.
Use Android and Google account controls to manage advertising and purchase settings.
Exercise privacy rights available in your region directly with any service provider that holds your data.

Because LED Banner Scroller does not maintain user accounts or a personal-data database, we normally have no personal record to access, correct, export, or delete.

10. Security and permissions

LED Banner Scroller minimizes data exposure by keeping banner content locally and not operating a data-collection backend. The app requests network access only so Google advertising and billing-related services can function. No method of device storage or network communication is guaranteed to be completely secure, but we limit the information handled by the app to what is necessary for its features.

International processing

Google may process service data in countries other than your own. Any such processing is governed by Google's policies and applicable safeguards; LED Banner Scroller does not independently transfer your personal data.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when app features, service providers, or legal requirements change. The revised policy will show a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated through the app listing or another reasonable method when required.
